Hello! My name is Luc NeJame and I am currently majoring in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Florida. I am the Undergraduate Lab Manager and an undergraduate researcher for the Florida Social Cognition and Emotion Lab. I am also an undergraduate researcher for the Social Science Collaboratory and Life Story Lab. 

I am particularly interested in studying how physical spaces and social situations influence people's experience of awe and what factors predict and describe transformative experiences. I am also a scholar of ancient Greek philosophy, particularly Skepticism. Ultimately, I am fascinated by the subjective essence of what it is like to be a person occupying a particular situation. As Aristotle said, we are social animals, and as Plato said, we have souls; so, I think it is apt to study how we relate to ourselves and others.
